Frequently Asked Questions

  • Australian immigration policies do change from time to time. While most visa subclasses have straightforward criteria/requirements, the migration pathway may differ according to your case/situation.

  • Australian visa processing times will depend on the Department of Home Affairs and the visa subclass you apply for. To give you an idea, getting a permanent visa may take more than 12 months. But if you want to have travel rights while waiting for your permanent visa, do send us a quick query and we’ll find the best option for you.

  • There are various visa categories to migrate to Australia (Business Visa, General Skilled migration/GSM, Employer-sponsored/Work Visa, Family Visa etc.). Each has a different cost but the average cost for migrating to Australia is from AUD 8,000 to AUD 15,000.

  • There are different factors that affect the processing time of Australian visas. These may include a scenario where your visa application requirements/documents are complete with all supporting documentation. The processing time is among the factors why most migrants choose to get help from a registered migration agent instead of a DIY application.

  • Each visa category has its own set of criteria. It will depend on the migration pathway you choose to apply for. While each visa subclass has its own set of requirements, we advise you to consult an expert immigration lawyer to find the best pathway with higher chance of approval.

  • You must apply for a permanent visa to have the legal right to remain in Australia indefinitely. It can be a pathway through a skilled work visa or a family visa. Upon gaining a PR, you may be eligible to apply for citizenship and sponsor a family member to move with you in Australia.

    • Education and Training (100k+ jobs by 2023)
