Skilled Migration + Points-based pathways
Your skills.
Your ambition.
A strategy with direction.
A skilled migration plan needs more than a points total. Bring your experience, qualifications and goals into focus with agents and immigration lawyers who connect the evidence to the pathway.

The right expertise around your plans
Why Clients Trust
Think Visa
Occupation selection, assessment evidence and invitation planning influence each other. We examine those connections so your next move rests on a supportable picture of your background.
Experience translated
into evidence.
We work through the relationship between your duties, qualifications and relevant assessment pathway, with legal input available for issues beyond routine preparation.
Points you can
substantiate.
A claimed score needs a reliable evidence trail. Identify uncertain employment periods, English result or qualification claims before they become part of an invitation strategy.
A plan with
practical alternatives.
Consider nomination settings, regional options and your current visa timeline together. You receive an explained scope and cost for the work recommended.
Independent, nominated or regional
Choose a direction
that fits your profile.
The 189, 190 and 491 pathways use SkillSelect, but their sponsorship and nomination settings differ.
189
Skilled Independent
An invited permanent pathway that does not require an employer or state nomintation. Review the eligible occupation, skills assessment, English and points evidence before planning an Expression of Interest (EOI)
Discuss this pathway190
Skilled Nominated
A permanent pathway requiring state or territory nomination. Local criteria and occupation priorities sit alongside federal visa requirements and can change between program periods.
Discuss this pathway491
Skilled Work Regional
A provisional regional pathway involving state nomination or eligible family sponsorship. Regional conditions and the potential later subclass 191 pathway need to form part of the longer-term plan.
Discuss this pathwayAn EOI is not a visa application and does not grant a bridging visa. Meeting the points threshold does not assure an invitation; nomination does not assure visa approval. Age limits, health and character requirements also apply.
Before an expression of interest
Give every claim
a solid foundation.
We consider the whole profile, including where the timing of one requirement could affect another.
-
Occupation and assessment
Match actual duties and qualifications to the relevant occupation and assessing authority.
-
Age, English and points
Review the evidence and timing behind each proposed points claim, including any partner factors.
-
Nomination and location
Compare state requirements, regional commitments and the applicant's readiness to meet them.
-
Dates and lawful stay
Track assessment validity, English results, invitation deadlines and current visa conditions.
Graduates may need a separate subclass 485 assessment while developing skilled experience. Exceptional achievement pathway such as the National Innovation visa are assessed separately and are not points-tested alternatives available to everyone.

A few useful answers
Questions at
this stage?
Does meeting the minimum points score secure an invitation?
No. Invitations depend on the relevant program and selection settings. A higher score alone does not resolve occupation eligibility, assessment requirements or nomination criteria.
Should I choose an occupation from my job title?
Your duties, qualifications and employment evidence need to support the nominated occupation. A title by itself may not establish the appropriate classification or assessment pathway.
Can I wait in Australia after submitting an EOI?
An EOI gives no permission to remain or work in Australia. Your existing visa and its conditions continue to matter while you explore invitation options.
Can we discuss graduate or employment options too?
Yes. Where relevant, the team can review whether a graduate or employer-sponsored route deserves a separate assessment, rather than relying entirely on an invitation that may not arrive.
