The Temporary Residence Transition (TRT) stream of the Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186) allows eligible 482 visa holders to transition to permanent residency if:
- You hold (or held) a subclass 482 visa
- You have usually worked at least 2 years full-time in the nominated position with your sponsor
- Your employer nominates you for permanent residency
